//A p K to have a tiny part in a MoCa Exhibit!!

NO kidding…We always say that we are lucky, but this one raised the bar for us. From April 17-August 8th of this year (and again next year for 4 months at Brooklyn Museum) MoCa will feature the ‘Art in the Streets’ exhibit. The exhibition will go down as the first major U.S. museum exhibition on the history of graffiti and street art. The most legendary names in street art  will have work on display including Jean-Michel Baquiat, Keith Haring, Shepard Fairey, Swoon, Futura, Barry McGee ,Todd James (Reas), Steve Powers (ESPO) and plenty more. There will be a special emphasis placed on photographers and filmmakers who documented the time in films such as Style Wars, the Dogtown Skate culture and more. //A p K produced a video, directed by my friend and downtown NYC visionary Matthew Lenski, that will be a part of this installation and as someone who grew up in the boroughs of NYC, I couldn’t be more excited to have our tiny piece of this amazing project.  

TV on the Radio releases first music video for ‘Will Do’ off of their new record ‘Nine Types of Light. 

+ //A p K is excited to plug this great video for a terrific song off the new TV on the Radio record. We were lucky enough to Produce two videos off this record that are yet to be released. The band is playing Radio City Music Hall on April 13 the day after the full length album music video, short film and new record come out. We are very excited to have worked with one of our favorite bands and can’t wait to hear/see it all come out. check out their new video here - its a visual accomplishment.
